Tarta Etruria Association

The Tarta Etruria Association was created with the aim to promote and divulge information and knowledge on turtles, encourage proper farming and promote research on these animals, so as to safeguard their existence both in the wild and in captivity.
On the Association’s website www.tartaetruria.org (currently only in Italian) you can find information about the first objectives reached, which mostly concern genetics studies and setting up of protocols for a more correct and modern (as well as pain-free) DNA analysis, the programmes and the projects soon to be started, and you can also receive useful advice on the farming of the various turtle species and the interpretation of the legislations concerning protected species.
With the aim of financing some Research Projects and orienting the passionates to a fair purchase, Tarta Etruria organizes the second edition of Chelonian Expo, which will be held in Arezzo from on May, 21 and 22, 2011.

Testudo Edizioni

The Italian publishing house of books and magazines dedicated to the world of turtles. First founded for publishing the quarterly magazine "Testudo Magazine", and then appreciated  also abroad, our publishing house is widening its horizons: after the first complete guide "Tartarughe Acquatiche e Palustri", avaliable also in English, the new collection of monographs "Tartarughe del mondo" (Turtles of the world, N.d.T) is now available. This collection will present, with no fixed frequency, a description of the different species.
In order to offer a wider choice to the most demanding passionates, Testudo Edizioni serves also as a bookstore: our catalogue presents a wide range of carefully selected books on the international level, dedicated not only to turtles, but also to terrariums, veterinary, and herpetology in general.

Testudoalbino

It's a turtle farm of Testudo certified by Cites with a thrty-year experience in turtle reproduction.
An interesting section on a Caramel Albino version of Marginated Tortoise.
It has been working with Tarta Etruria since the first Edition of  Chelonian Expo, which will be held this year in Arezzo  on May, 21 and 22.
